Print-Ready Artwork Guidelines
To ensure the best printing results and to avoid costly job re-orders when creating your own artwork, please follow the requirements below. Contact us for free blank template files to help format your artwork correctly.
Propel Print is not responsible for artwork that does not follow these specifications:
- Color - All color artwork and/or images must be provided in CMYK mode. Any Pantone colors must be converted to CMYK, unless your print order specifies spot colors.
- Resolution - Artwork should be high resolution, created at 300 dpi or higher at actual size. Only banner artwork is acceptable at 100 dpi.
- File Format - We recommend saving as a PDF. Export PDF files from any Adobe program as "Press Ready", turning off "Compress Text and Line Art". We also accept the following high-resolution file formats: .JPG, .PSD, .TIF, .EPS and .AI. We do not accept Word or Powerpoint files.
- Fonts & Images - All fonts should be converted to outlines in Adobe Illustrator and all images should be embedded. Artwork created in Photoshop should be flattened.
- Bleed & Trim - Artwork must include a 1/8" (.125") bleed on each side. No crop marks. Keep text at least 1/8" from trimming edge.
